At Hillside Primary School learning is our number one priority, as such we include Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development to ensure we have a holistic approach to learning across the school.

British Values at Hillside

The DfE have recently reinforced the need β€œto create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.”

At Hillside, these British Values are reinforced regularly and in the following ways:
